Appen users how do you even make money on Bane project?

Seriously how do you even make money on Bane project ? Everytime I log in, I get no work available. Is this a project that has come first get served policy ? I worked on several projects and I always had work allocated to me to but with bane I hardly ever made $10 in the past 5 months.

Everytime they send me a link, I work 1 hour then I have go wait a month again to work 1 hour again. I'm located in the UK and I see people from the UK making more, I just want to know what I'm doing wrong?
