Connecting Amazon account to ReceiptPal

Hi. Did anyone do the connecting their amazon account to receipt pal to get the bigger gift cards?? I don’t know if I really want to connect my actual amazon account since it is connected to my credit card, so I was wondering if a throwaway/backup Amazon account works? Or does it only give the gift card to whatever account it’s linked to?
