Swagbucks app: live in Canada but getting "unsupported country" message

I live in Canada and I'm able to use Swagbucks normally through the web site, both on the computer and smartphone. But when I try to use the Android app in my phone, I get the "unsupported country" message every time I try to login. Curiously, the Swagbucks Live app works fine. Has anyone had this problem with the app?
