As someone who has primarily been on iOS, is it worth getting an Android phone for beermoney?

I made the mistake of updating my second iPhone to iOS 13.2 and it turns out it breaks Swagbucks' Lifestylz app. That app had been giving me endless rounds of SB the past few days. Needless to say, I've spent this entire morning trying to downgrade back to iOS 13.1.2.

I've thought about getting an Android phone for some time now (not just because Swagbucks seem to favor them with continued support for SBTV and IndyMusic, two apps that don't work anymore on iOS, but just more earning opportunities to begin with beyond Swagbucks), but is it worth it? If so, what specs should I be looking for in an Android phone? I don't want to spend $100 just to end up with a paperweight one year later.
