Question about IPSOS: WeLoveMedia app, beginner

In a survey I was told to install this app to receive gift cards, they would record audio from my phone to do something. I've seen online that it's legit and gives gift card.

I'm a beginner to this, can someone explain what this app does and give more info on it?

BTW, I do not watch TV, i only watch YouTube on my phone or iPad, is that cool?
