For those who do surveys, what's up with these weird questions?

So, I do a lot of surveys. Every now and again, I'll get a survey that wants me to press buttons on my keyboard to designate words that they flash up on the screen to be good or bad, inclusive or exclusive, positive or negative, etc. It seems to have no purpose and actually feels like some sort of mind control technique. Does anyone have any idea what these things are about? Am I the only one getting them? They freak me out anytime I get them.
