Anyone got points for referring people from outside the US and Canada to Current (music app)?

So I went to "Invite friends" section of the app, and there was this message "You can only invite friends from USA and Canada."

This is weird, as the app is available globally; but maybe this message just means that you will only get referral bonus if you invite people from USA and Canada.

So my questions are:

1. Does anybody else see this message?
2. Did anyone get points for referring people from outside the US and Canada?
