Quora earnings are unnatural

Does anyone else notice that your earning on quora increase very flatly every day? For example mine would only go about by a set amount ($3 or so) with little fluctuation. As a user I wouldn't know the true value of my questions, so quora might be withholding some of my earnings without telling me.
