Problem with using GPT sites outside of country of residence. (Placement year in US)

Hi, so i have placement year coming up in June 2020 and i was wondering with websites such as mturk, prolific etc, what would be the course of action when i go over to the US of A, I currently live in the UK and was wondering what I should do with these websites as surely I would get banned if i use any site over in the US. Should i contact them to let them know what is happening, and if so will i have my location set as the US. Thing is if they do not let me take part in their GPT stuff then I will lose that source of income and especially as I only get £5000 for the placement year, I really need it and cannot afford to be banned or not allowed to take part.

Any help will be much appreciated!
