Looking for passive android apps that work from people from India.

I'm asking for a friend that is from India. Being from the US it's so much easier for me to find apps that work, but he's having a hard go at it, and he's getting really frustrated. It would be greatly appreciated as I really feel bad for him because every time I tell him about an app, he says he's not able to join. I've did some searches on here, and the only passive thing I've seen is cashmagnet.
