Question about restarting donating plasma after 1 year [Arizona]

I went in recently to CSL to donate plasma, when I went she said I would have to basically sign up again as a new patient because I have not been seen in 1 year. I'm wondering if I will get the new patient perks (higher donation reward) and if I can then go to a different CSL place and sign up new and also get the perks?

Has anyone ever done this?
