How do many of you make so much on Swagbucks?

I see a lot of people on her posting how they make a decent little chunk of change each month on Swagbucks. I have been grinding on it (off and on) for two days and have made about 400 points. This equates to $4 lol. What am I missing? I let the app know my location even when I’m not using it and I use the browser. Any tips or tricks is greatly appreciated for a rookie!!!
