BS blog posts on Pinterest?

I see lots of links to making money at home on Pinterest. And I swear to God they always put Survey Junkie on the top of every list. The most recent one I read said it was possible to make $50 in one day on Survey Junkie. This has been far from my experience. But I thought maybe I'm just in an oversaturated demographic and somebody out there truly has made $50 in one day.

So is it just an urban legend? Or does someone actually know this mythical creature?
