Survey Concept

I'm working through a survey startup idea and figured y'all would be the best people to 'poll' given your expertise in the space.

Concept:

Transaction-backed mobile survey app. You connect your connect your debit/credit card to the account during the sign up phase and add your basic demographic information. Then as you accumulate purchases, businesses can reach out to you and collect feedback on your experiences. This could be use for both retroactive feedback as well as for market research (aka if Taco Bell wants to learn about Chipotle customers).

Reward Structure:

The idea is that users are rewarded whenever any bit of feedback about their profile is accessed. This would mean that if Taco Bell is surveying you, you'd receive a payout for every data point related to your account. So, to use the example above, if Taco Bell is doing market research they'd be paying for your Chipotle data, each piece of demographic data they want access to, and each question that they are asking you. It would be up to the users to decide what information is shared. Meaning that you could choose to not share financial data if you don't want to.

Use cases where business could use:

1. Shake Shack is looking to collect information about one of their locations and wants to poll people who recently made a purchase there.
2. Joe's Coffee is looking to steal customers from a local coffee shop. They'd use financial data to find potential customers and offer incentives to convert individuals who make frequent visits to their competitor.
3. Jack is starting a company that offers dental insurance and he'd like to pose questions to individuals who have had sizable dental expenses over the past in order to learn about their dental insurance preferences.
