Get $50 in PayPal for free within hours - only identity verification required

I see several others made posts relating to this a few months back, but they were vague and didn't really cover many details of how to do it and cash out, or any proof that it worked. I thought this was too good to be true, but apparently not.

For anyone that hasn't heard about this, blockchain.com partnered with XLM, and are giving away $125 million in the cryptocurrency, $50 per person. I had heard about this before, but had quickly dismissed it as some useless crypto that wasn't worth claiming.

Someone told me about it again today, and I noticed the currency is listed on both Coinbase and their Coinbase Pro exchange platform, meaning you can cash it out very easily. Here's how I did it and cashed the full amount with essentially no fees straight to my bank account:

Step 1 - Register with blockchain.com and verify identity

This process took around 5-10 minutes to complete. You need to provide them with a selfie beside your driving licence, and a close-up of the licence. After you complete this, the XLM should be in your account (it went in instantly for me). If it's not there, you might need to visit www.blockchain.com/getcrypto.

Step 2 - Register a Coinbase account and transfer funds there

I already had a Coinbase account, so this was quick. You'll have to verify your identity here too, but they use an automatic system so there won't be any wait time for this.

First, get your Coinbase 'XLM Wallet address' and 'XLM memo'. You can do this by going to the 'Accounts' tab on Coinbase, scrolling down to 'XLM Wallet', and clicking 'Receive': https://prnt.sc/njlz49 + https://prnt.sc/njm044.

To transfer the funds out of blockchain, click on 'Stellar' on the side navbar, then click 'Send': https://prnt.sc/njlyk1. Fill in the address details as shown and withdraw the max amount: http://prntscr.com/njm14b. The transaction came into my Coinbase account instantly.

Step 3 - Use Coinbase to exchange to PayPal

First, go to Coinbase's exchange platform (pro.coinbase.com). Simply click 'My Wallets' at the top, click 'Deposit' and scroll down the currencies until you find 'Stellar'. Make sure you click 'Coinbase Wallet' tab, select the max amount and click deposit: https://prnt.sc/njm2g0.

Now you can use the main trading platform to sell the XLM for BTC, then from BTC to USD, or whatever your local currency is: https://prnt.sc/njm8dg + http://prntscr.com/njm38u + http://prntscr.com/njm3cy.

Go back to 'My Wallets', hit withdraw, and withdraw the currency back into your main Coinbase wallet. Then, on the main Coinbase platform, click on 'Settings', then 'Linked Accounts' and link your PayPal account. You can now withdraw the funds by going back to 'Accounts', clicking 'Withdraw' beside the currency, and selecting your PayPal account.

Summary

I know this is out in the open already and has been for a while, but I feel a lot of people might have dismissed it when they saw it was crypto like I did. I just wanted to share how easy it is to cash out for those unfamiliar with these platforms, as $50 is an extremely juicy amount for doing next to nothing. Enjoy!
