Has anyone here actually tried dropshipping in 2026?

I have always heard that dropshipping is basically dead or way too saturated at this point, so I never really paid much attention to it.

I was watching some videos on YouTube recently and came across a few people who are still making sales with it in 2026. Some of them were showing their ebay stores and apparently still getting regular orders, which honestly surprised me.

I am not expecting to make thousands overnight. Even a few hundred dollars a month on the side would be pretty decent for me if it is actually realistic. I am just trying to figure out whether this is still a legitimate side hustle or if most of the content online is just people selling courses.
