Beginner User Tester From India Seeking Advice

Hi everyone! I'm a 20yo first year B.Tech student from India and I'm interested in getting into user testing as a side income. I am currently in a difficult financial situation so even small earnings would be helpful for me.

I have a pc, an Android phone, and a stable internet connection. I don't have any prior experience in user testing but I'm willing to learn and put in the effort. Even 1 dollar for 40 mins is alot for me in in really bad financial state

I had a few questions for those with experience:

1)How long did it take you to get your first paid test?

2)Which platforms have worked best for you, especially if you're from India?

3)is it realistic for a beginner to earn consistently?

4)What are some common mistakes that new testers should avoid?

5)Do you have any advice for someone just starting out?
