Anyone in Salt Lake done paid clinical trials? Worth it?

I’m in the Salt Lake City area and looking for ways to make some extra money on the side. I’ve seen a few ads about paid clinical trials and research studies. First of all, are they even real? Second of all, are they safe, worth it, how long do they take? If you guys have done any or recommend any that are real/trustworthy that would be helpful thanks.
