Gain.GG Question

I am currently doing the offer for the color bolts puzzle game and I have my user experience to level 5 in the game but it will not show on the progress. The task before that is to make any purchase to get an extra reward. Do I have to do that? I assume you have to make a purchase with real money as I have done a purchase with the game currency and it has not changed.

I was wondering if I could skip that and still get my reward for reaching user experience level 5.
