Cashwalk Cycling Points

I've been using cashwalk for maybe 2 years. Used to get points (steps) for cycling. It would just accumulate slower. Been on the bike the last couple of months but it doesn't seem to be ticking up when I ride. Did it change? Does the GPS being on change anything?
