How do you reach the checkpoints in Mistplay?

So I just downloaded Mistplay as it seems to be the highest recommended of its kind. The problem is I'm not sure what exactly the requirements are for reaching these checkpoints in order to get points. Is there somewhere on the app that explains what the goals are? Is it time based or level based or what? It seems a little unclear. Also apparently only earn a certain amount per day or something?
