Renting out your linkedin account

As the title suggests,I recently came across some people who are claiming to lease your linked account and use it for leads generation or so they are claiming. Who else has heard about this and what is actually being done with someone's account? They claim to pay via crypto but my question is what if it's something illegal? Just saw someone say they're training AI.
