If you aren't interested in this kind of thing, please keep your comments to yourself. If you don't like what I buy, you can buy different products. If you don't like hunting for deals, you can do surveys, microtasks, games or whatever else you like instead. There is no need to discourage other users just because you aren't interested in the same things!

If you don't need feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, soaps, etc - consider donating them to your local women's shelter, church, or school! Don't need pet food? Give it to a shelter!

Some Additional Deals

Afterthoughts

I only got a tiny haul today. I initially planned to get the Nature's Own bread (IB + Fetch brings it down to like $0.22) and a couple other things, but our store was sold out. I've been told the bread will be coming on a truck tonight, but I'm not sure if I really want to run out to the store just for some bread. I'll probably just check the next time I go if the offer's still around.

I actually messed up on the Barilla deal. I saw offers on C51 and SB, but didn't realize they were for certain stores. Whoops.

Technically part of "this" week's haul was last week. I try to only post once a week unless there's an amazing, can't miss deal going on. Unfortunately, that one expired before I could post it, so I just rolled it into this week. Just an FYI for those that do not know - I always edit my posts with sneak peaks and any new deals I find the day I find them.

MyPoints had their $25 PayPal marked down last week. I'm not sure if it was intentional. I calculated out my rewards based on that cash out, but the they put the points back to normal shortly after I did my haul. It's possible they could cancel the rewards.

That Plezi juice is terrible imo. I couldn't find anyone who liked it. The Schar's is misleading. It looks like they should be smores cookies. They're not. It's just honeygram cookies. They're pretty tasty, but they're very dry.

Time Spent

I generally plan my hauls over the course of an hour or two while I eat breakfast/lunch and play with my pets.

I usually spend around 45-70 minutes in the store, which includes my regular grocery shopping. I could easily cut that down to 30-45 but I like to take my time.

Food From Deals

The other week I made some taco meat. Deal items included taco seasoning and ham (I substituted half for the beef, couldn't taste the difference). I served it with pasta instead of the tortilla shells. Not as tasty, but I have way too much pasta that needs to get eaten. Although, there are some decent stacking deals on hard shells between Ibotta + Fetch right now.

I also made a lasagna. Cottage cheese, ham (subbed half the meat), noodles, pasta sauce, and most the seasonings were deal items. Beef wasn't, and the "cheese" wasn't. I used bettergoods plant-based "cheese". It's pretty decent. I wouldn't use it on a pizza, but in lasagna? I can barely taste the difference, and my stomach is much happier.

Here's some things I've made in the past: High Protein Tomato Crackers, Hot Sausage Cups, Peanut Butter Fudge & Chocolate Hazelnut Fudge, Chocolate Cherry Pie

Do you guys want me to continue showing things I've made using ingredients I got from rebate apps on these posts? Let me know in the comments, or you can vote on this poll if you want to remain anonymous.

Mini FAQ

  • If you're new or confused - check out the guides near the top of the post. They go into detail about everything.

  • I'm from the USA and these posts are tailored as such, but this post of mine does list things from other countries that I know about.

  • My posts are tailored to being money makers to suit this subreddit. There are tons of great deals that aren't money makers but can still save you a lot of money.

  • A lot of what I get is given away to friends, family or is donated. I do this more as a hobby than anything.

  • I generally do not share my spreadsheet since the one shown in this post is not the one I actually use (it's put together with a script from my usual spreadsheet) and there are a ton of little things that will give you wrong values if you don't know about them and even then you have to be careful. It's super easy to make a spreadsheet with Google Sheets though.
