Cash Giraffe Payout

I've recently gotten on Cash Giraffe and earned quite a few points to redeem payouts. I redeemed a Target "25% off site wide" payout that gave me a discount code but doesn't give you details. I tried using it on a few different types of products and I keep getting the message "Doesn't apply to any item in your cart"

It comes off very "scammy" Anyone else deal with this?
