Afterthoughts
Just a couple baby hauls this week. I had to drop someone off right next to Walmart earlier this week, so I just grabbed a few things to complete the small midweek bonus. My weekend bonus was larger, as usual, but I was struggling to get enough deals. Since I'm a bit short on time right now, I decided to just grab a handful of things. Unfortunately, I was delayed getting to the store (Instacart order was late), and a lot of the freebies disappeared before I got there.
I noticed a ton of clearance stuff today, but I didn't have time to look through it all. I got a Bluetooth speaker for $5 though, which is awesome, because mine just started having issues charging. I also noticed my store now has 2 more clearance spots, which I find ironic considering they just got rid of the one in that area in favor of a big aisle. The aisle isn't full either, so I'm not sure why they needed to make new spots.
I got my 2nd Instacart promo order this week. I love these $15 off $35 promos. Time to cancel my Instacart+ trial and wait for them to send me another promo code.
Time Spent
A few minutes planning and shopping earlier this week, and maybe 20 minutes planning today while I ate breakfast and about 15 minutes in the store which includes grabbing some regular groceries. I was zooming.
Food From Deals
Some stuff's going on, so I won't be able to make anything new until closer to the end of the month. Here's some things I previously made and sound really good to me right now: Pizza Pocket, Buttered pasta, stewed apples, and cinnamon ginger tea, Cherry Mousse Cake, Shrimp with Red Wine Sauce and Pasta
Do you guys want me to continue showing things I've made using ingredients I got from rebate apps on these posts? Let me know in the comments, or you can vote on this poll if you want to remain anonymous.
