Is there a way to put down Mturk surveys and go back to them on mobile?

I’m new to Mturk. This is going to sound kind of bad but I ideally would like to do them in my down time at work. Due to the nature of my job, I have to set my phone down at unknown times to do my work. I tried it earlier and I didn’t close out of it or anything, just locked my phone. It was only for a few minutes and when I came back it had erased all of my progress which was a pretty significant amount. Is there a way to save them or are they strict about timing?
