does tapchamps ban people often?

I tried using tapchamps on an old cellphone and played on it for about 15 minutes, got to level 3 and then my account just randomly got banned, no explanations. Does this happen a lot with tapchamps, or did I do something wrong? Would it have something to do with using a cellphone that's not connected to data, even though it's supposed to work on tablets too?
