MindProber users—how to get started?

So I somehow signed up for MindProber through a survey and never heard a word…today was delivered a box with the sensor and some bracelet-looking things..but no instructions, no “here’s what happens next”, nada, nothing.

Searching online I cannot find anything that actually explains the next steps—how do I get started? Is there an app I should download? How do they know when I’ve actually watched something so I receive payment? How long after my viewing a show is payment received? Can I watch my normal regular programming with this or just what they tell me to watch? All I got (and this was before I received the sensor) was a generic community-wide email talking about an upcoming sports game and how excited I should be about that.

It really irks me that nothing was sent explaining anything about MindProber and how exactly it works before I got the box…all I kept thinking about was how many people in the past have received these sensors and then just…threw them in the garbage later because they had no clue what to do next?
