This week's grocery haul: I got paid $36 to take $147 worth of Makeup, Tweezers, Nail Clippers, Drinks, Candy, Snacks, and More!

Here are the goodies.

I got quite a bit of stuff again this week. I did a small haul earlier in the week, and then another one today. I'm sure I could've made this haul better, but I really just wasn't feeling it today. I wanted to finish up my big bonus, so I mostly got deals I already knew about.

Total: $147.22

Coupons: $12.18

Digital Coupons: $3.00

Total Cash Back: $168.11

Final Cost: -$36.07 - Money Maker!

Photo of the haul.

Here is the complete break down and sites used. Walmart Trip #1 was done earlier in the week. The Special K coupon was from the Free Breakfast program from Kellogg's. The store coupon was a $3 off any $15 spent at Dollar General. All other coupons were printable. I don't include sites that take any receipt such as Coinout, ReceiptPal, etc on my breakdown. The stores are listed in the breakdown image. Brandclub takes a while to credit, so the amounts listed are what I expect to get once it finishes pending.

If you aren't interested in feminine hygiene products, consider donating them to your local women's shelter or church!

Brandclub is a newer addition to my hauls. If you're not familiar with the app, you can read about it on the post I made the other day. I also have a guide about how I do trips like this if you're interested. Note: Individual deals vary by user for most apps. If you don't have the deals right now, you can try checking back later.

If you aren't interested in this kind of thing, please keep your comments to yourself. If you don't like what I buy, you can buy different products. If you don't like hunting for deals, you can do surveys, microtasks, games or whatever else you like instead. There is no need to discourage other users just because you aren't interested in the same things!

Some additional deals I didn't/couldn't take advantage of:

  • Garnier Fructis is $3 each at Dollar General, and there is two stacking $3 off 2 digital coupons. (Note: People have reported issues when buying one shampoo and one conditioner - the shampoo needs to be scanned first.)

  • Certain Covergirl products are $4.50 with a $4 coupon at Dollar General.

  • Beyond Jerky is on Ibotta and Shopkick. The 1oz bag comes out to be like a quarter.

  • M&M Ice Cream Sandwiches at Dollar Tree - If you buy both varieties and submit to Shopkick it'll be a $0.67 money maker.

  • Betr Ibuprofin is $7.62 at my store with $6 back on Ibotta

  • Malt o Meal is on Shopkicks for 900+ points. This offer has been going up and up.

  • Clorox - $3.21 back on MyPoints when you buy 2.

  • Red Gold Tomato Love - Free on Ibotta & $0.25 back on Fetch

  • Lots of stacking deals for Maybeline New York on Fetch

  • Tons of free stuff on Ibotta.

  • Arm & Hammer kids is $5 back on Swagbucks and $0.87 back on Checkout51. Also $2 on Ibotta. This deal keeps coming and going on Swagbucks

  • Irish Springs is on Swagbucks, Checkout51, and Ibotta. Comes out to about free. The deal keeps coming and going on Swagbucks.

  • Queens V Hygiene has a bundle on Shopkick for 4100 kicks that is a pretty good money maker.

  • Kellogg's Free Breakfast Program - You can get a coupon for one free product up to $5 for Kellogg's Cereal, Pop-Tart, Nutri-Grain, or Eggo when you purchase an eligible product. Limit of 3. Just a note/warning - my coupon didn't scan properly at Wal-Mart (most of the "free" ones don't). The employees at my store don't have a problem entering it manually, but ymmv. Expires 7/10/22

  • $5 Vudu promo code when you buy 1 bag of Twizzlers Expires 9/10/22

  • Motrin - $2 back on Ibotta, $2.50 on C51. Walmart has it for ~$5-6. CVS Has them at $6-7 but they often give out 40% off coupons.

  • Coppertone is $2 back on Ibotta and $6 back when you spend $25 on Coupons.com.

  • Dollar Shave Club has $5 back with this promotion and it's on Ibotta for $2-4.

  • Estroven is 10.88 at my store with $5 back on Ibotta and a $5 printable coupon. It shows $9.99 online, so your ymmv

Afterthoughts

I made a trip to Wal-Mart earlier in the week since I was heading past a Wal-Mart in another town. I did a pickup order for the Revlon and COTY stuff. They were marked down super low on the website for some reason, so I decided to take advantage of it. I knew about the COTY for a while but my Wal-Mart wouldn't price match in the store. Found out that apparently you can now use gift cards for Wal-Mart pickup, so I might start doing that more often. Although, BrandClub didn't go into pending so I lost out on some potential survey rewards there. I'll have to keep this in mind for the future. (I wrote this on Monday after my trip, and still managed to forget today, haha.) The teas and soylents I picked up in the store. I separated my Soylent transactions, hence the high BrandClub amount. Had to use up some expiring survey rewards. Although, at least one survey did end up expiring while my purchase is still pending so... not sure if I'll get that.

My second Wal-Mart trip was a split between a pickup order for the Revlon and COTY stuff again, and the rest I went in the store and got. I definitely could've done better, but I just really wasn't feeling it today, so I just sort of half assed it and grabbed whatever so I could finish up the big bonus. I was super excited that our store had the big bottle of Tazo tea though. I just happened to spot it on the shelf. There was a lot of things sold out in Dollar General (really good deals that a lot of jerks are wiping out the shelves for), so I just grabbed what I could. CVS was a bit of a last minute thing. I realized I needed one more Ibotta item, and someone told me the Baby Ruth offer popped back up on SB.

Time Spent

The first Wal-mart trip was split between a pickup order (~5 min of shopping + ~5 min of waiting to get it) and then I got a few items in the store. I spent a bit under an hour at the store, mostly in the garden section and browsing the inventory since I was in a Wal-Mart in a different town. I only grabbed the last 3 things in the store though, so I could've easily been in and out within 10 min. I already knew what I wanted, so no real planning involved.

Second Wal-Mart trip was a split between a pickup order (~5 min of shopping + ~10 min of waiting to get it) and, once again, more items in the store. I spent about 40 minutes in the store including browsing the garden section again and getting my usual stuff. I spent a solid 15 minutes of that trying to get BrandClub to load so I could figure out which varieties I needed to buy. Planning took place over the course of about half an hour while I ate breakfast.

Dollar General was maybe 10 min of planning, and then I spent like 20 minutes in the store since I couldn't find a couple things. I originally had a few other deals worked out, but the shelves were wiped out.

Dollar Tree was in and out. CVS was in and out.

Food From Deals

Lazy meals this week. I cooked up a whole box of pasta, tossed it in some butter and garlic, and then paired it with Bratwurst and Deep Fried Turkey with Sauce. That Bratwurst turned out super delicious. I did the same last week as well, but used Smoked Sausage instead of Bratwurst. I've also been making a bunch of Herbal Lemonades like this one with all the different tea bags I get.

Do you guys want me to continue showing things I've made using ingredients I got from rebate apps on these posts? Let me know in the comments, or you can vote on this poll if you want to remain anonymous.
