How do you guys empty pre-paid credit cards?

I have a $100 Amex card that I’d like to empty. I tried to add it to my Amazon balance but Amazon does a pre-auth micro transaction and then there’s insufficient money left over to charge the $100. So I can only do like $98-99, which is fine but was wondering if you guys have any tips or hacks for emptying these cards entirely.
