Change to Mode/Current App?

I had been using this app for a month, got enough to cash out for some gift cards, and it had been doing time based points for the apps that it wants you to download and play. These would often have increases like 4x the points and be an easy 100+ points for a couple minutes. Today I see that they have moved to a level based system and its like max 8 points per level? Though it still says that they are with an increase in earnings but that does not show like it used to. Does this happen after the first month or is this a shift in the wrong direction for them?
