Being paid by Bank Transfer

I completed a study for company based in the UK, and they want me to fill out a form to process payment. The form asks for my banks routing and account #'s. Just wondering since I've never been paid this way before for a study, is this safe? The company is People for Research so they are reputable and legit. Thanks.
