Question about security in Appen project

So I'm relatively new to Appen and have been applying to a few projects, but there's a few that I would like to apply but one of the requirements is having a "robust virus protection software", so that's pretty much what's holding me back. I don't really have an antivirus since I own a MacBook, but has anyone worked on these kind of projects that ask for a robust virus protection software without issues? or is it safe to work on them?
