Leaving Allen project?

Hey! I got accepted to project Andromeda. It seemed doable but they sent me a ridiculous deadline asking for many more voice recordings with another person then I anticipated. My question is has anyone left an appen project? How do you do it? Is it held against you? Pay seems way to high as well.. it a data collection project also!
