I highly recommend you don't touch Game of Kings: The Blood Throne

I'm sure it was a doable offer 2yrs ago as stated in this guide here: https://www.reddit.com/r/beermoney/comments/ex6e3t/guide_game_of_kings_the_blood_throne_level_21/

But it isn't anymore, they have since removed the promo codes so you can't get some ez resources from any codes anymore. If anyone sees the offer to reach Stronghold lvl 22, don't do it, its not possible unless the time to complete it is 40+ days, it is one of the worst clone city builders out there and here's a few reasons why:

1. The time limits to complete upgrades is 100x times longer than other building games
2. Your hero/general/commander etc that gives you bonus's to your city can be captured by other players and be held prisoner for 4 days or killed on the spot, people will generally hold your hero for the full time limit and then be a douche and kill them though.
3. Some of the events require you to have your hero so if they were captured you're shit out of luck.
4. Unless there is an event going on that gives an immense amount of resources out, you will always be in need of some as the later upgrades require quite alot. While it is frowned upon outside of the weekly killing event for someone to attack you while gathering a resource node, people will still do it just to be ass's.
5. The premium currency given out in the game is pretty easy to get and come by but you will be using it for safety shields so your kingdom won't get attacked and get your hero captured.
6. Additionally once you get to your endgame point, you will soon need blacksmith hammers to upgrade some of the buildings which in turn cost the premium currency you need.
