S'more won't redeem

I'm sure everyone that has the app has seen the same message. Been like this for a few weeks now and been stuck at the same number of points. Should I continue to just wait it out indefinitely till it becomes responsive again or do I just delete the app now that it's become useless? I currently have 1430 points saved up there.
