Is course hero giving free amazon gift cards or did i just get scammed?

Got an email from coursehero@interact.coursehero.com saying I get a $30 amazon gift card for uploading and to sign in to receive it, it looked legit but when I logged in it just said "You should receive your $30 gift within 4 business days. Check your inbox and upload more content to help other students learn!" I have uploaded a ton of documents but never heard of it and if its real there was no information on how to redeem the card? Help
