Giftloop: I think their CS is trying to pull something..
back in march, i cashed out for a $12 paypal. in previous month's going way back when i first started with them, they've always paid. even if you had to wait.
flash forward to this year. no payment. had one rep exchange that went right to ghosting. deleted them and moved on.
this month i decided to throw a bit of curiousity, and emailed their support again about the missing paypal payment.
here's a brief transcript of how that went down.
Hi [my legal name],
We apologize for the inconvenience.
For verification purposes, can you please provide us your full name, order number, and your email address linked to your Giftloop account?
same day i sent them what they wanted (keeping mind this is what i did in april, and got ghosted for the march payment) but what the hell right? lol
here's a reply after i gave them the order #/ email/ full name.
now, im not a genius..but how in the blue hell does that odd request make any remote sense?
sounds like away to phish someone. perhaps.
edit: if you click one of those links in a cs email, it takes you to a cs rep's ticket page..but the top left header has the CURRENT MUSIC logo.
this is making me wonder, is current music and giftloop the same? sort of how swagbucks owns mypoints? all apart of prodge back when..that part there left me a bit confused. because on the cs rep's ticket link, they show clear as day an entire copy of my ticket emails.
so for anyone using giftloop. delete it now.
