GG2U Gift Card Redemption Question

So I redeemed a 10 dollar Visa Card from GG2U and I was wondering if I am supposed to get a confirmation email that they are going to send it out to me or will they just email me with the code when they have it? I am from the US and this is my first gift card redemption from GG2U.
