I am really confused by UpVoice... help?

Just downloaded it a few minutes ago after seeing a youtube ad, and it let me spend 1 point for 1 dollar gift card... But it gives you a free 300 points when you sign up.. I spent 100 points on this and got 100 confirmation emails saying my gift card will be there soon.

Theres.. no way that the site intended that to happen, right?? I feel kinda bad about it.. Anyone know what coulda happened? I doubt the site would just hand me $100 off the bat
