Current Music: Do you have to check in on games?

I've been using the current music app for a bit over a week and was trying out their game "boosts".

It will say, for example, "play Township for 70c for 8 minutes". Now I did this a few times. Playing , then going back and got the reward and then a new one appeared that said basically the same thing.

My question is though, can I just stay in the game and earn the reward multiple times? Like if the minutes says 8 minutes, can I stay for 20 minutes and get it twice? Or, do I have to check back in Current every 8 minutes. I tried it myself but it didn't seem to credit even the first one.
