Has anyone invested in a smartwatch for market research?

So I have been using Dscout and other paid study apps quite a bit lately and notice a lot of smart device related study requirements.

I'm thinking this would be a great investment, as 1-2 studies would pay for the watch. Has anyone tried this out already? Thoughts on this? What brands would you consider? I've also seen quite a few studies on electric toothbrushes and other smart technologies.
