Free Honey Nut Cheerios, Free Coffee and Tea, Free Burger, Free Lasagna, Free Whiskey, and Free Ice Cream!
In one respect, 2021 will be the same as 2020 -- there is still lots of free food! As always, these are US only, though maybe some of these would work for Canadians too. Let's get to it:
Free Honey Nut Cheerios during the month of February
Buy a box of Honey Nut Cheerios (up to $7) during the month of February and upload the receipt to www.freehoneynutcheerios.com by March 15 to get the purchase fully reimbursed by General Mills.
Free Coffee, Tea, or Cold Brew Every Day from Corner Bakery through March 31
Join Corner Bakery rewards and get a free coffee, tea, or cold brew every single day between now and March 31, no purchase necessary.
I’m pretty impressed cold brew is part of this offer, because that’s normally more expensive… although I guess they’re banking on not many people wanting cold brew in the winter.
Free Burger from Sizzler
Sizzler is a chain located in the western US. If you join their email club, you’ll get a coupon for a free burger within 24 hours of joining
Free Lasagna for Parents and Caretakers affected by COVID
Lasagna Love is a project to bring homecooked Lasagna to parents and caregivers affected by COVID. You can check the zip codes to see if they deliver in your area.
You all know I love a good loophole, but since this seems to be a project meant to help those in need, let’s save it for those among us who need it most.
They also accept donations! I’d love for our community to come together and help others get free food, so if you’re in a position to donate feel free to drop them a comment alongside the donation saying where you came from; I did the same!
Free Whiskey from Bushmills
From the official announcement:
Step 1: Buy a Bushmills® Whiskey pour or cocktail from your favorite local bar
Step 2: Take a photo of the itemized receipt
Step 3: Upload below. Valid receipts will receive a reimbursement of up to $6.
Whiskey money is close enough to beermoney, right?
Free pint (or two) of late-night friendly ice cream from Nightfood
ightfood is an ice cream brand in the vein of Halo Top or Enlightened, promising the good vibes of ice cream with less sugar, fat, and calories than the traditional stuff. Nightfood goes one step further and claims it has nutrition that aids in sleep, making it better for late night snacking than traditional ice cream.
If you’re pregnant, you get two free pints. If you’re not pregnant, you get one free pint. If you’re contemplating getting pregnant, you can add the one pint ice cream differential into your calculus about whether to have a kid or not.
