Is it illegal to use my grandpa's info for second accounts? He actually also does surveys

I told him about beer money and while some sites ask for SSN, I only have one, so for tax purposes I introduced him to some sites and have him registered to them. Though he's down, he says I can do some work for him. I don't mind, I've installed even a few apps on his computer, he doesn't seem to mind. But am I doing something wrong here? The thing that I wonder is why do some sites ask for an SSN when they don't even give out an employee form, it's such an intricate detail that I'm a little skeptical but hey, we're both getting our beer money and he's happy. But could I get banned from sites by doing this or should I not use his details, maybe even just misstype his SSN for example.. I'm really lost here and don't want his identity or mine get stolen because some sites do ask a lot of info.
