What are Online Focus Groups like?

Been looking through craigslist studies and there are many that are described as online focus groups for an hour or so, or a few sessions. Ive participated in some one on one zoom studies and they went fine, but I'm a little unclear on what a focus group would be like. Anyone had good (or bad!) experiences with these? What do they consist of?
