Prolific - compensation provided is different from what is stated

I participated in a survey that mentioned X British pounds in the agreement clause more than what is actually shown on Prolific and there is no mention of the total reward being split into two or more surveys. I am new to Prolific and I am unsure if anything changes if I bring up the issue. I have contacted the survey host about the reward variation. Typically, what action does Prolific and/or the survey creator take to deal with that issue?
