Ampli - another Canadian cash back app like Drop and Paymi
I found out about Ampli (non-ref, or ref gives both of us $5 when you link your first card to the app) a few months ago and was surprised to have never seen it on this sub. Ampli is one of many ventures backed by RBC (like Dipp and Butter) - you link your credit card to the app, and get a % cash back when you shop at specific merchants with the linked cards. Those who use apps like Drop and Paymi are no stranger to this.
Cashout is via e-transfer once a $15 minimum is reached. (payment proof). Current active offers include:
- 2% on Doordash orders over $25
- 2% on purchases at Indigo
- 1% on purchases at Rexall
- 5% on purchases at Baskin Robbins
- 15% on purchases at Pet Valu
- 5% back at Toys R Us purchases over $25
- $5 cash back on $25+ purchase at Michaels
- $5 cash back on $65+ spend at Sephora
- $10 cash back on $125+ spend at Hudson's Bay
- and more - some offers change every few weeks or so
I personally don't actively make purchases on my card based on the offers in the app, but every once in a while I'll make an eligible purchase and get some unexpected cash back.
