P&G Good Everyday - New rewards program from P&G

Many of you probably won't recognize the name P&G, but they make many of the products people in the US use everyday. To name a few of their most popular brands, Tide, Bounty, Gain, Charmin, Pampers, Bounce, Crest, Oral-B, Gillette, Downy, Febreeze, and Old Spice. My point is, if you look around your house, you're likely using products made by P&G, and probably buy them regularly.

Anyway, P&G has recently been pushing their new rewards program, P&G Good Everyday, and I've been using it for a few weeks now. I'm surprised no one here has talked about it, so here's my rundown.

Introducing P&G Good Everyday - non-ref - Payment Proof

As I mentioned in the into, P&G makes products you probably buy regularly. Now, you can earn rewards and have P&G donate resources to different causes around the world.

How it works

It's a very simple program to use. After a shopping trip just visit the website, then tell them where you shopped, and what products you bought. I recommend searching each brand you purchased in the brand list as they own a lot of brands. If all is good, you'll earn 50 points for each P&G product you purchase (up to 250 per receipt). Plus, you can choose a cause to have P&G support. For example, for each P&G product I buy, they give me 50 points and donate a bottle of hand sanitizer to healthcare workers in need. There's other causes, so choose one you like. Of course this is just a way for them to look philanthropic, but I don't think they would make the donations if it wasn't for the program, so it's worth it.

They'll also link short 2-3 question surveys you can take for 25 points + a donation on your dashboard. They send new ones regularly, so it's an easy regular 75 points towards your next reward.

The only other benefit is P&G product coupons, although they're just the same ones you can find via Target Circle, or other retailer programs.

Rewards

With the points you get, you can enter sweepstakes, make extra donations, get "experiences" like a free movie rental, and select gift cards. So, your redemption options are a bit lackluster, but better than nothing. My go to is 750 points for a $5 gift card. Your gift card options are Chipotle, Panera Bread, Starbucks, iTunes & App Store, Best Buy, Domino's, Dunkin', and Taco Bell. It's a very small variety, but it's worth it if you go to any of the places I just mentioned.

FAQ

Is there a mobile app?

No, it looks like that it's only available via the web app right now. It's a bit clunky to use, so hopefully they're working on a native mobile app.

Is it US only?

I believe that it's US only right now.

How fast do rewards and receipts process?

Receipts can take up to 24 hours to give points. Surveys credit instantly. Rewards are usually processed instantly in my experience with a $5 Starbucks gift card.

Conclusion

Since many of you already purchase P&G products, it's a no-brainer to signup for this. I got my first $5 gift card after scanning my shopping receipts for about a month. Although the program is in its very early stages right now, hopefully more improvements are on the way.

Enjoy!
