Anyone else having issues with Prolific and Prolific Assistant?

So no new studies pop up in my firefox browser at all and the Assistant extension has a permanent ERR notification. New studies do pop up in Chrome but the Prolific assistant rarely makes any sound to notify me when there are new studies.

I uninstalled and reinstalled chrome and with no change as far as the voice notification.

Is this something that anyone else has/is experiencing currently?
