Anybody else have trouble receiving phone notifications for OnePulse?

I have been getting notifications for OnePulse fairly regularly up until a few weeks ago. Now, it seems like notifications only show when I check my phone. I can't tell if this is a problem with the app or with my phone (I have a Samsung Galaxy S10/Android). I changed the app's battery optimization usage in the "optimize battery usage" utility, but that didn't seem to change anything. Are there certain app permissions that need to be active as well?
